Every ingredient, and why it is in there.

35 ingredients across two creams — 27 in the botanical matte hair cream, 24 in the botanical skin cream, 16 in both. Each one is named as it appears on the label, said again in plain language, and given the reason it is included. Nothing here needs looking up somewhere else.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf JuiceAloe vera: The base both creams are built on. Where most formulas start with water, these start here — it carries its own polysaccharides and amino acids, so the largest ingredient is also doing work.
Aqua (Water)Water: Water, in its place rather than first. Named and listed like everything else, because a formula that hides where its water sits is hiding the main thing.
Argania Spinosa Kernel OilArgan oil: Light and fast-absorbing. Smooths the cuticle without weight.
Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel FlourColloidal oat: Soft, comforting feel on the skin.
BakuchiolPlant alternative to retinol: Smooths and renews in the way retinol does, gentle enough for daily use. The purified Sytenol® A grade, not a crude babchi extract.
Behentrimonium MethosulfateBTMS, from rapeseed: Reads like a sulfate and is not one. It is a conditioning agent derived from rapeseed, and it is what lets the cream detangle and soften without leaving a film to clarify out.
BetaineFrom sugar beet: A humectant from sugar beet. Holds water without the tack that glycerin alone can leave.
Butylene Glycol: A small solvent. It carries the extracts into the formula so they disperse evenly instead of clumping.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) ButterShea butter: The melt-in. Softens at skin temperature, so the cream breaks down on contact instead of sitting on top.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: The light liquid fraction of coconut. It thins the butters so the cream spreads without dragging — and it is the reason the hair cream is not coconut-free. The skin cream is formulated without it.
Caprylyl Glycol: A glycol that conditions on its own and lets the preservative system work at a lower dose than it otherwise would.
Centella Asiatica ExtractCica: The calming botanical behind a great deal of Korean skincare, long used on skin that has been through something.
Cetearyl AlcoholFatty alcohol: Not the drying kind. Fatty alcohols are waxy and conditioning — the opposite of the drying alcohol on a toner label. Stabilises the emulsion and carries the texture.
Cetearyl GlucosideSugar-derived emulsifier: Made from sugar and fatty alcohol. It is what keeps oil and water from separating back out in the jar.
Cetyl AlcoholFatty alcohol: Another fatty alcohol, not a drying one. Body and slip.
Gluconolactone: Half of the preservative system, paired with sodium benzoate. A cream that is mostly aloe and water will spoil without one — this is the gentler way to prevent that.
Glycerin: A humectant — it pulls water in and holds it. Plain, cheap, and one of the most reliably useful things in any moisturiser.
Glyceryl Stearate CitratePlant-derived emulsifier: The emulsifier that makes oil and water into one cream. Plant-derived, and gentler than the PEG-based emulsifiers it replaces.
Hydrolyzed Avena Sativa (Oat) ProteinOat protein: Oat protein cut small enough to cling to the cuticle. Smoothness that survives a comb.
KaolinKaolin clay: The reworkable part. Gives the cream body in the jar and a finish that loosens under your fingers rather than setting hard.
MaltodextrinPlant starch: A plant starch that carries the powdered extracts. A delivery system, not an active — and named rather than folded into someone else's trade-secret blend.
Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed ButterMango butter: The middle butter — firmer than shea, lighter than illipe, and low in odour. Body without heaviness.
Maranta Arundinacea Root PowderArrowroot: A fine plant starch. Scatters the light landing on the strand, so hair reads matte rather than shiny — the job a silicone or a wax would otherwise do.
NiacinamideVitamin B3: The most-studied ingredient in the jar. Supports the skin barrier and evens the look of tone and texture.
PanthenolProvitamin B5: Holds water and gives the cream its slip.
Persea Gratissima (Avocado) OilAvocado oil: One of the richer oils here. Weight for lengths that want more than argan alone.
Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed OilMarula oil: A light oil, high in oleic acid, that absorbs quickly rather than sitting on the surface.
Shorea Stenoptera (Illipe) Seed ButterIllipe butter: A rare high-melt butter from Borneo. The firmest of the three butters, and the reason the skin cream sets richer than it spreads.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed OilJojoba: Technically a liquid wax rather than an oil, and the closest botanical match to what skin already makes. It absorbs instead of pooling.
Sodium Benzoate: The other half of the preservative pair. Unglamorous and necessary: an unpreserved water-based cream grows things within days.
Sodium HyaluronateHyaluronic acid: The salt form of hyaluronic acid, which is the form that actually absorbs. Draws in water for immediate plumpness.
Sodium PhytateFrom rice bran: A chelator from rice bran. It binds the trace metals that would otherwise turn the oils, so the cream keeps.
SqualaneOlive squalane: Olive-derived. Absorbs rather than sitting on top, which is what separates a cream that softens from one that coats.
TocopherolVitamin E: An antioxidant. Its first job is keeping the oils in the jar from oxidising, which is what makes a natural formula go off.
Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp ExtractSnow mushroom: A botanical that holds water the way hyaluronic acid does — branched rather than linear, with a smaller molecule.

What is not known yet

The percentages above are locked formulation targets, not figures from a weighed production batch — neither formula has been made as one yet, and the exact order finalises from the first weighed batch. Percentages are published for the hair cream only. The skin cream publishes none until there is a batch to measure.
